My dad, Mel Oshins, was just in the process of designing a webpage with his friend Rick Noyce, when Alzheimer's killed him, yet, my father did not have Alzheimer's. So how did Alzheimer's kill him you ask? His beloved wife of 34 years, his beloved Joyce developed early onset dementia and my dad was her caregiver. He did everything he could to give her the best care, although he found it difficult and at times found himself frustrated and angry. He was devastated when he came to the realization that he could no longer care for her alone (as he was 18 years older than she and lost much of his strength). He had to agree to have her stay in a facility. That was one of the most difficult decisions my dad ever had to make. He visited my stepmother often even though it was at least
